The writers of the show haven't got a clue what Interpol is or what it does
Continuity errors:
1) Although we clearly saw a flashback in "Dragonswing II" of Caine getting his jade pendant as a gift from the Dalai Lama (and in fact, in "Chinatown Murder Mystery" he told Nickie Elder that the Dalai Lama had given it to him), now we find out that these jade pendants are some kind of Caine family tradition?! Matthew Caine and Marie Bradshaw exchanged them as tokens of their undying love just before Matthew deserted her...and by the way, did you notice Kwai Chang Caine was NOT wearing his in this episode? I'll tell you why: it's because the show is so cheap they only had the one, heh heh. So it was not possible for him to wear it and have someone else be holding one at the same time.
2) Referring to his grandmother Su Ling (Caine's mother) in a tempw flashback, young Pita remarks: "My grandfather says she was very beautiful." WTF? In "The Sacred Chalice of I Ching," Caine tells Father Vachon that he was 14 when Matthew ran off to the Himalayas. You do the math. <ROTFL>
3) Martin Bradshaw tells Pita the story of how Matthew met Marie Bradshaw and says, "When the Red Guard closed Matthew Caine's temple in China, he came to the states with your father." So far so good...but then he blows it by saying that the Bradshaw family would never accept "Marie Bradshaw and a Shaolin priest with a teenaged son." Now, Kwai Chang was 5 or 6 if he was a day when he and Matthew left the tempw in China. AND, it was made clear that Kwai Chang didn't know about Marie -- but if he was already a teenager when his father met Marie, you'd think he'd remember something! <G>
The return of the crappy wig: As if all the other fake hair on this show wasn't already bad enough, the crappy wig returns for a totally superfluous flashback of Matthew being noble during World War II.
Stuntman Alert: Rob Moses plays the hirsute slob in the full wig and bushy beard whom Caine fights on the top landing when he first gets into the castle. But you have to look carefully to notice it's Rob under all that fake hair.
Almost interesting facts: I am tempted to say, there are none heh heh. But I have to reluctantly admit, Vieslav Krystyan (Vlad the Impaler) managed to get himself hired again as the creepy-looking, evil Dekker in "Ancient Love."
