Retribution: Production Number 187591 Original Air Date: November 30, 1994 Robert Lansing's final episode. A CIA-sponsored attempt to "sneak" a scientist out of the Ukraine ten years earlier comes back to haunt Blaisdell when the traitors involved in the failure of the mission suddenly start killing off the other group members. Reality check: No matter how you look at it, seven mercenaries in western clothing skulking around a bus parked in the middle of town square would NOT remain inconspicious! Bye-bye, Blaine: Kelly Blaine mysteriously morphs into Kelly Blake in this episode! Was she MEANT to be Kelly Blake all along and someone finally noticed they'd be calling her Blaine -- or was she meant to be Kelly Blaine all along and nobody noticed this name switch? <G> Perhaps THE stupidest question ever asked on the show: Jody says, "You knew the captain before the precinct, didn't you, Peter?" Duh! Lil continuity problem? Early in the episode, Blaisdell tells Caine they got the girl out of the Soviet Union alive. Later, Stiles says piously, "She would have been thirty, had she lived." Huh?! Was this meant to be a ham-fisted clue that Stiles killed the girl after they got back to the west (and therefore might be presumed to be the bad guy), or was it just a *koff* screw up?
