When a white slavery ring kidnaps the student who has been studying with
him the longest, Caine becomes involved in Pita's
investigation into the similar disappearances of many other young women.
Almost interesting facts: Alicia (Deborah Drakeford) has been in
at least two other KF episodes. Judging from the production number (187446),
this episode should have been her first appearance, but because many episodes
were broadcast out of production order -- even during the original airing -- it
turned into her second. Now go back and look at what became
her first: "Dragon's Eye". In that episode (production no. 187452), Pita
asks Alicia about her grandmother! This makes no particular sense unless you
realize that "Rose Garden" was meant to come first. Her third appearance
is in "Banker's Hours" when Caine goes with her to a bank that is robbed
the minute they walk in the door. <G>
