Sing Wah: A man asks his wife to fly in from Macao in order to have lunch at their favorite restaurant in a mall in Fu City despite the fact that he is being pursued by an insidious killer sect who is out to get him. The power that is Sing Wah?: This is the episode in which we first meet the Sing Wah, a malicious cult whose idea of stealth is to spend five noisy minutes bashing through walls with their bare hands. To their dubious credit, they do eventually figure out that coming through the door real fast works better when you are trying to surprise someone. <G> So near and yet so far... Four episodes after moving in with Caine, Cheryl decides to move out, then (probably after Calista Carradine realized she had nothing better to do that decade anyway) turns right around and moves back in again. Drat! Enter the Bon Bon: He becomes such an overwhelming Icon of Eviw that it's hard to believe this episode is the first of only three times we get to see Soon Tek-Oh as the enigmatic Bon Bon Hai. Details, details: In this episode you can clearly see where David Carradine carries his wallet and his cigarette box! But after all, why should he bother to empty his pockets before filming starts for the trivial reason that it would be completely and totally out of character for Caine to carry a wallet or ciggy-butts? Quote to ponder: The Chinese have believed for millennia that the mind is divided into eight houses: one for thinking, one to dream, one for combat and one for memory.
