Sunday Afternoon in the Museum with George:
  • Production Number 187588
  • Original Air Date: November 2, 1994
  • Some people never learn! George (Geordie Johnson) from "Sunday at the Hotel with George" returns to Fu City planning to rob the National Museum of Life's Chen Cheng-Gung exhibit on the very night that the entire 101st is on hand to guard the treasure. Now calling himself George Vladpallin...from Baltimore, yet...George unwittingly activates an ancient curse which (frankly) does a much better job of guarding the treasure than the 101st. Meanwhile, clearly tired of being squashed flat every time Kwai Chang Caine faints all over him, the Ancient makes a cunning attempt to kill off the ascetic, austere but nevertheless overweight Caine by getting him to touch the cursed jewelry!

Episode Highlights: Pita's hair looks particularly fluffy at the party!

Episodes Lowlights: Didn't they stop using static electricity as a special effect back in the 50's? I know it was considered state-of-the-art back in the 30's...<G>

Blooper alert: Although George refers to himself as "Vladpallin," and his crates are stenciled "Vladpallin," Museum Director Blythe insists on calling him "Vladpallion."

Almost interesting facts: Patrick Monkton makes his first appearance as Museum Curator Blythe in this episode; his second appearance is, of course, in the Jumanji Rip-Off Episode, "Dragon's Lair" (in which he also fluffs his lines <G>).
