The Powerpuff Girls

Episode 46 -- SUPERFRIENDS
Storyboard by Cindy Morrow and Clay Morrow
Villain: Princess Morbucks

A little girl named Robin moves in next door to the Powerpuff Girls but when their constant "save the day" routine interrupts the budding friendship all too often, kindergarten classmate Princess seizes the opportunity to ingratiate herself with Robin for her own nefarious purposes.

Cute quote: I don't need to be friends! I need to be a Powerpuff Girl!

This episode features the song "Signal in the Sky (Let's Go)", which aptly describes the problems the girls have making new friends:

Would you like to play a game of hide and seek now?
If you have x-ray eyes, will you promise not to peak now?
First we count to ten, and then we'll have some fun now!
Or will you fly away before we count to one now?

Signal in the sky-oh
That's when you know that you have to fly-oh
Signal in the sky-ooooooooh

Hey girls, hey girls, come out and play now!
Or do you have to hurry off and save the day now?
Can't you come over, watch a movie with your friends now?
Or will you fly away before we see the end now?

Signal in the sky-oh
That's when you know that you have to fly-oh
Signal in the sky-ooooooooh

Let's go! You know you have a lot do to, oh.
Let's go! And everything depends on you, oh.
